The service was very good indeed; everyone was very friendly...
A review of Slovenia - Europe's Secret Adventure Playground by Andrew QuixleyI found everyone I spoke to in the office extremely helpful in the run up to the holiday. They understood my special requirements in terms of taking my severely autistic son on this trip and I found their reassurance that he would be fine a big help. The fact that several of the people I spoke to had been on the trip themselves, knew the activities, the accommodation and the guides, gave me…
Read more confidence in what I was letting us in for! The transfer from the airport on arrival went like clockwork; our driver was waiting for us and was clearly visible (although the airport is small!). She even warned us that motion sickness might be an issue before we started, due to the steep hills and hairpin bends en route. I thought she might have been exaggerating, but two hours later (and feeling slightly nauseous!) I understood exactly what she meant! I found the accommodation to be very good quality and very comfortable. The service was very good indeed; everyone was very friendly and easy to understand. Although there were no options at dinner, everything that was offered was good and there were 100% clean plates through the week for me and my son! One of the other families in our group had fairly fussy kids, but the hotel was easily able to adapt to their foibles and keep them all happy. The guides were all very capable and confident, and one felt that they always had everything under control and everyone was safe. Tomas and Gregor deserve special mentions; Tomas is certainly a character and everyone warmed to him from the outset. If only the water in the rivers and canyons wasn't quite so cold and that bloody zip line platform so hard ;-) P.S. I didn't get a brochure because I didn't want or need one; I found everything I needed from the web site or by talking to people in the sales and/or support teams - all of whom were very approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. It always felt like they cared - particularly about making sure my autistic son would be OK, which is obviously a big deal for me. Many thanks.

Extremely knowledgeable local representatives, very well organised transfers and activities.
A review of Malta - Gozo Island Adventure by Heather NuttallExtremely knowledgeable local representatives, very well organised transfers and activities. Superb accommodation, lovely food - and plenty of it! Sea kayaking was the most popular (activity) across the board, helped greatly by the fantastic guide, Sandra who deftly repaired a dodgy rudder armed with cable ties and gaffer tape! All the other activities were great too. The individual guides and…
Read more instructors were brilliant at teaching us new things and instilling confidence. Cornil was always on hand for any questions - nothing was too much trouble. Pete and the adorable Bob added greatly to our enjoyment of the holiday. There were lots of different things organised and all were enjoyable.

Each day offered something exciting.
A review of Portugal - Surf's Up on the Alentejo Coast by Verity BowcockRicardo and his team were very good - efficient/well organised/friendly We felt that Ricardo's local knowledge of the area meant we got to go to places we would not have found ourselves. The standard of the accommodation was much better than I had expected at Duna Parque and the staff lovely. The only issue being that if we wanted to have a cooked breakfast we had to walk to HS Milfontes every…
Read more morning. Each day offered something exciting. I personally enjoyed the surfing; the children loved the lagoon day and abseiling and treasure hunt.

An excellent location for families
by John ThomasStarigrad is an excellent location for families and we also preferred the apartments to being in the hotel. Philip and Nina, our reps, couldn’t have been any better. On their day off they even organised paddle boards and played with the children. I also valued the occasional tow in the canoe. The river trip was most enjoyable. Swimming at the waterfall was excellent and so were the rapids, even…

Our guide was excellent...
A review of Croatia - Plitvice Lakes Adventure by Dawn ElvinOur guide was excellent - very flexible and accommodating to our needs. He gauged the capabilities of the group well to ensure we had a great experience without exhausting ourselves or pushing the limits! The entire holiday was superb - well balanced to give a range of activities throughout the week. The Lakes were spectacular, the day paddle boarding was a great introduction to get used to being…
Read more on the water and a bonus to be able to do this straight from the hotel, the cycling trip to the mill with fabulous lunch and the thrill of the kayaking trips.

The activities were first class and most enjoyable
A review of Spain - Pyrenean Family Adventure by Paul KingThe activities and interaction with other families on our holiday - it was particularly pleasing that children got on well with each other and at the end of the week exchanged contact details to keep in touch. The activities were all first class and most enjoyable. White Water Rafting - All day activity that involved all levels of fitness and abilities - most amazing day out; Hydrospeed -…

We have just returned and had a truly fantastic time. We loved the white water rafting activity, but also the river boat treks. Both very different - one physical and fun, one just felt like we were seeing some magical sights. The wild orangutans and Pygmy elephants were the highlight. We loved the combination of adrenalin activities and nature. The jungle lodge experience felt like something we…
Read more had to do but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend more than one night there. I like my creature comforts too much! Sepilok Lodge was lovely. The bedrooms are fairly basic, but the beds were comfy and the food there was excellent.

Cornil was an excellent guide both on our eco day and in fact generally an all round really helpful chap. He sorted out our car hire for us and ensured that any queries we had were dealt with promptly. We had a great holiday and are already looking to book another one with you for next year.

We had a lovely holiday, staying for a full second week.
A review of Turkey - Mediterranean Activity Week by Mike WildingWe had a lovely holiday, staying for a full second week. The reps Mike & Karen could not have been more helpful and willing to offer suggestions for other things you could do. The guides, Barbaros and Cem were lovely and great with the kids. Tubing was definitely the silliest and really great fun. The lazy boat days (we did an extra one) were the favourite for the family as a whole. Kas is a…
