We enjoyed all the activities but the best was dog sledding. We were involved in harnessing the dogs to the sleds (which was great fun) and then went for a long ride. Most exhilarating and enjoyable. The owners of the hotel have a great loyal team working with them and everyone works incredibly hard. They are clearly passionate about what they do. They were very helpful and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble.

We enjoyed all the activities, but in particular the visit to the reindeer farm was very interesting and the herder was a great host. The husky safari was an amazing experience too. Sadly we only got one tantalising glimpse of the northern lights - might have to try again next year!We would consider another similar trip next winter as this has been such a success.

Really hard to pick the best activity as the cross country skiing, snow trekking and ice fishing were really popular with us all. The amethyst mine was great - actually digging for the amethysts was engrossing. Husky sledging was fantastic.

We had an amazing stay in Jeris and the activities were fabulous. Thank you for everything, we will definitely consider using your company again. The thrill of driving your own husky sleigh - nothing beats it

Read more ruin many Christmases to come. I needn't have worried. The whole experience was put together beautifully, building up to the crescendo of spending the day with the man himself. Santa was very generous with his time given we met him on 22nd December. He assured us his elves were getting everything ready for the big day! He spent the entire time with us, chatting to the children, telling them stories and giving out facts of just how he manages to deliver presents to children around the world.Kids and adults alike thoroughly enjoyed the many snow related activities we could try, my personal favourite was the husky ride. This was an exhilarating trip through the spectacular Finnish scenery with a team of Huskies pulling you along. I even had the opportunity to drive the team myself, something I never imagined I would ever do!The group was made up of just four families including our own so we had chance to share our experience with just a few others. Never did we feel rushed and the schedule of morning activities followed by free time in the afternoon was the perfect balance. We used the pool three days in a row (the kids loved the slide!) and the new Angry Birds facility was enormous although a bit pricey to use. A spot of bowling on the last night finished the trip off beautifully. There were opportunities to try additional snow related activities in the afternoons at additional cost but the kids - who had all made friends with each other - just wanted to go in the pool.The elves, who were particularly playful, started a fun snow ball fight on the first day (and) were excellent. Santa has so many of them, there were rarely any with us two days in a row. Tanya elf was particularly helpful and engaged with the children well with stories of the work she does for Santa.The other guides were also brilliant with explaining the activities and being helpful - always happy to take photos or push the kids on the kick sledges - a real help to me being on my own.All in all, I couldn't recommend this trip enough and whilst I wouldn’t do the Santa trip again - it is meant to be a once in a lifetime experience after all - I would certainly consider going back to Activities Abroad for future trips. Sort is a perfect base location for this holiday and felt like a very safe environment for young families. Good opportunity to meet others in the group and great lunch!Daily meetings with our tour guide (Isi) to discuss kit requirements for the following day were a good way to keep the group together and well-prepared for the activities.

We had a fun packed holiday, meeting other families of like minds. As a team we were encouraged and challenged to join in activities we would otherwise shy away from.The island had a great atmosphere, full of festivities around the island celebrating Saints days and life!

We have just come back from a week in Keswick where we had the most amazing adventure, ghyll scrambling, experiencing the Via Ferrata at Honister mine, canoeing and much more. I thought the email documentation was very thorough. I would have liked some information on which hotel we were staying at proportion to booking. Generally the admin was excellent. Read more good team.The Lazy day boat trip and snorkelling was an excellent introduction. We very much enjoyed all the activities made special by the Gozo Adventures team, in particular, Mark who was great with our boys. The final Eco day was a real treat and we felt we had some insight into Gozo that most other tourists would not get.It was a shame we were the only family booked on the holiday for the week we went as we were hoping to have some company for our teens. However, all the instructors and activity staff made us feel very special and gave us an individual experience.A fantastic week. The best holiday I have had for a long time.
