The most extraordinarily wonderful, diverse, happy holiday I can remember in Cost Rica, with the fantastic Joel 'Jox' as our guide, aided and abetted by Roy our driver. Just fantastic. I don't think we'll travel with any other company for the next few years.... Thankyou!

We had a really great holiday...
A review of Croatia - Adriatic Activity Week by Judith HarrisonThe admin staff in the UK were very helpful and well informed. The hotel/apartments were really beautiful with fabulous views. We had a really great holiday, lots and lots of fun, and made some good friends. I think my sons enjoyed jumping into water from boats and high rocks the most!!

Our activities leader was great - very reassuring and gave us all confidence in the activities
A review of Slovenia - Europe's Secret Adventure Playground by Catherine FirthThomas our activities leader was great - very reassuring and gave us all confidence in the activities, adapting what we did do, there being just us. He brought along his son to join in with our boys which they all enjoyed. The canyoning - really exciting - challenging yet adapted to the levels of bravery of each member of the group.

We enjoyed a thoroughly well organised and well run holiday. Absolutely everything was carefully considered and carefully thought through, it was obvious this was a well-oiled set up! The week ran like clockwork - there was no hanging around and we had fast-track access through the queues at Saklikent. All equipment was in good condition and there was just the right balance of organisation and…
Read more free time. We are a family of disparate sporting abilities - ranging from highly proficient to novice. We booked activities to suit our individual preferences and managed to achieve the perfect balance for all of us. Harry and Hughie particularly enjoyed the biking, Alice loved the Lazy Boat Day and I was just happy that everyone was happy. Well done and thanks to everyone who had a hand in organising our holiday. We were lucky that the group we travelled with all had older teenage children - which gelled the teens and suited the parents.

We were impressed with the safety attitude and ethos of the guides
A review of Croatia - Adriatic Activity Week by Susan MabbettAs outdoor folk already familiar with kayaking, canoeing, caving and climbing we were impressed with the safety attitude and ethos of the guides. The equipment provided and tuition was all of good quality.

Unspoilt by busy tourism
A review of Kittila Lapland Winter Adventure by Hazel Taylor-SiddonsJust come back from a fantastic holiday based in Kittila - Northern Finland inside the Arctic Circle. It is a small town with one hotel, one main road and unspoilt by busy tourism. The staff and welcome at the hotel was warm and friendly even at midnight after driving up from Rovaniemi! The guide in our case Jussi (pronounced Yussi) was great - he looks after the group from breakfast, through your…
Read more activities and into the evening. The rooms are simply furnished but warm with great, hot showers. The light in February is similar to UK so you can see during your activities unlike in December. The hotel kindly provides clothing as listed for your full visit so if you go out to see Northern Lights then you are still warm. Our one disappointment was not seeing an Aurora in full vision but you can’t blame anyone for that. Getting on to the activities - they were as described and made a great change from skiing resorts of central Europe. Snowmobiling along tracks direct from hotel to frozen lake, then on to icing fishing - glad my dinner didn’t depend on it. We tried cross-country skiing and snowshoe walking, a great way to see more of the local area as once you leave the main road you need these! The highlight was the day on the reindeer farm and husky ride. Waiting for huskies to be harnessed and then you are off with the dogs barking and running through the forest and out onto the frozen lake and Arctic wilderness beyond For our options on the last day many paid to go downhill skiing at Levi, while I chose horse riding and others shopping and walking. The food in the hotel was good and suitable for the trip, and we tried some tasty local dishes. My advice would be don’t go at Christmas but wait for a little more light to get the best from your stay, unless you need to see Santa!
