Croatia is home to Dubrovnik, which is well-known as one of the world’s bucket list cities.
Why is it great for families? There’s just so much to do! Explore the ancient city walls of the old town, try out the fabulous local ice cream parlours and take a look at one of Dubrovnik’s most famous landmarks: Onofrio Fountain. Also, take a short walk from the old town to Banje beach which has many water sports on offer to help keep you cool in the middle of summer!

Just off mainland Croatia is the small archipelago of the Elaphiti Islands which offer an idyllic escape The islands around Croatia are fantastic to visit! There are three main islands in the archipelago: Lopud (see image above), Koločep and Šipan which offer families a secluded paradise where you can relax and enjoy your luscious Mediterranean surroundings.
The Elaphiti Islands are perfect for families with younger children. The sea kayaking and water games will certainly keep the whole family entertained!
