Excellent holiday
A review of Luosto Finnish Log Cabin Taster Week by Matt LendonExcellent holiday! Your activity guides are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their area of expertise. Taking the extra time to be friendly and explain what they were doing was most appreciated. It's difficult to have a favourite activity as all are very different. I liked snowmobile / amethyst mine and my wife liked the huskies. I least enjoyed going home when it was over.

Excellent family holiday in a fairy tale setting
A review of Christmas in a Jeris Winter Cottage by Karen HorridgeLapland is really beautiful. We had a great time doing all the arranged activities and enjoyed meeting like-minded travellers. My daughter and I especially enjoyed the snowmobile safaris and also the huskies. It was great to see wild reindeer wandering so close by in their own habitat and to see the respect of the local guides for the countryside, wildlife and local people. The food was very good…
Read more at Jeris and provided a good variety of vegetarian meals. The chalets are VERY warm and well kitted out. The local guides were especially good and could not have been more helpful. Great care was taken to ensure the local countryside and wildlife were not disadvantaged by our visit. Excellent holiday with plenty of time to chill out with the family in a fairy tale setting. No hesitation in recommending this holiday to others.

This was our first experience of Activities Abroad and we found that all the other families had travelled (with you) before. That in itself was excellent testimony to the company. Our activities were all well organised and supervised and the local rep was superb. The hotel and local area was comfortable and convenient. The children especially enjoyed the hotel pool. Read more Canyoning - we had not experienced this before and it was something totally different. I proved that I was not too old (though I was too chicken to jump 20ft into the river!). For us personally, (the holiday) surpassed expectations, so we were more than happy.

Read more the activities were just fantastic for the kids and adults alike. They seemed to enjoy all that they did and nothing was a chore - even taking us all to our 2nd week accommodation, which was not a problem in the slightest. We definitely would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants something a little different. We also would like to be sent details of next year’s holidays with Activities Abroad so as we can plan our next adventure ASAP!

This was an amazing holiday made possible by Martin our Spanish rep; he was so genuine and only wanted the best for all of us! I was very pleased that my children met people their own age and all got on well. Also, my husband was happy as he had lots of activities to keep him busy!
