Great experience
A review of Luosto Finnish Log Cabin Taster Week by John EllisonMany thanks for a great experience. I am 59 years old and all the activities were well within ease. A great thank you to your Activities Abroad guide and team on site who were invaluable, especially the first night when we lost our log cabin. 1 phone call and they were there to take us to our home for the week. Thanks to Peter and his wife.

We had a brilliant holiday! Perfect for the children (10+14), a little challenging but not daunting, they were able to participate at an adult level. Many thanks! We have already been on the website looking at our next possible holiday - perhaps further afield next time.

We had an amazing trip. We were four ladies all looking for an active holiday and maybe see the aurora - we got the active but unfortunately weren't lucky enough to see the aurora. The Lodge is excellent, I cant recommend it enough as are all the staff. Food was plentiful and warming. The forests and snow were extremely beautiful especially at night. Make sure you spend some time on one of the husky safaris - we did the two hour introductory safari - I wish we'd done a full day with them as it was such good fun.Three of us had a massage which was excellent and we also hired the large sauna and jacuzzi (outdoor) for a couple of hours. Only one of us was brave enough to roll in the snow between the sauna and jacuzzi! We had a small sauna in our room which I highly recommend. Overall a wonderful trip, we are considering going back again, maybe we will be lucky next time and see the lights - if not we'll still have a wonderful time.

A once in a lifetime experience!

A review of Luosto - Snow and Ski Active Pick and Mix by Margaret Mossman5 of us (me and my husband plus our daughter, her partner and their 9month old son) have just returned from Luosto and have had a fabulous time. We chose a design your own activities holiday so that we could play in the snow in pairs, leaving someone always available to babysit, and the program worked very well. Read more be for baby so went prepared with lots of warm clothing for him, but the guides were able to find a suit small enough for him to wear so he was even able to enjoy the toboggan run with us! We chose to stay in the hotel where there was a pool, which we all enjoyed as a family and the staff were very accommodating of a young child.Thank you Activities Abroad for a wonderful week - but the icing on the cake you couldn't have arranged - the Northern Lights in all its glory!!!!!! We had a fantastic holiday which was topped off by seeing the aurora on our last night. The clear starry night was also an incredible experience. We were all very sad to return home.

Read more facilities for the children was superb, our youngest was only 4 years old yet every activity was suitable for him.The group we shared the trip with consisted of 23 people (and) was the perfect number. (We) still cannot believe that we never came across another group while we were there, which made the trip feel even more exclusive.This was the trip where dreams came true and it succeeded in converting a beach loving family to a winter activities family.A magical way to meet Father Christmas with memories children will treasure forever.
